About Samuel J. Kahn

A third generation San Diegan, Samuel J. “Sandy” Kahn was born and raised in La Jolla California, and received his undergraduate, law, and graduate education from the University of San Diego and possesses an S.JD. (Ph.D) from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Since 1973, Mr. Kahn has served as Chairman and CEO of Kent Holdings and its various affiliates, historically one of the largest land development firms in the United States.

Mission Hills Golf & Country Club

Among the facilities at the club are 3 championship golf courses, 27 tennis courts of various surfaces, a spa and sports center.

Brown Field Airport

The project includes 331 acres of development at the airport including airside facilities with a new jet fixed based operation, T-hangars and heliport, over 1.3 million square feet of industrial and commercial space, a 6-8 MW solar field, as well as hotels and restaurants.

Public Service

In addition to his distinguished business career Samuel J. Kahn has an unselfish record of community and public service.

Dunes Hotel Las Vegas

After his fathers death, Samuel J. Kahn became the youngest owner of the iconic Dunes Hotel Casino & Country Club. The Dunes Hotel was a hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip and operated from May 23, 1955 to January 26, 1993.
